Ingredients

  • 1kg flour
  • 400g powdered sugar
  • 600g butter
  • 5g vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 jar of Kanz Apricot Jam
  • 200g pitted apricots
  • 100g brown sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C
  2. Add the dry ingredients into a bowl (flour and powdered sugar)
  3. Add the butter, egg, and vanilla and mix until a dough is formed
  4. Roll the dough on baking paper and spread the Kanz Apricot Jam, then fold the edges
  5. Add fresh apricots and sprinkle brown sugar on top
  6. Bake at 170°C for 25 minutes
  7. Sprinkles sliced almonds
