The Kammouneh is one of the basic recipes of Southern Lebanon’s culinary heritage. Kanz’s artisanal Kammouneh is prepared by the women of the village of Harris, in the district of Bint-Jbeil, South Lebanon. To prepare Kammmouneh, Bulgur, one of the first processed food items in the history of the World, is mixed with tomato, making a highly-nutritive whole grain mixture, rich in fiber, protein, and vitamins.
