Since the earliest Phoenician records, salt ponds have existed in Anfeh (North Lebanon). The tradition of sea salt extraction has been passed down for generations. Rosemary is a fragrant evergreen herb native to the Mediterranean, an ingredient that adds a fragrant savoury note to dishes. Kanz coarse salt is extracted from Anfeh, and is known as ‘white gold’. Mixed with dried rosemary, lemon zest and garlic, it is a perfect blend with fresh Mediterranean flavours. A few crystals of Kanz Rosemary & Lemon Salt add a burst of flavours to any dish. Best added before serving.
