Since the earliest Phoenician records, salt ponds have existed in Anfeh (North Lebanon). The tradition of sea salt extraction has been passed down for generations. Chili peppers are used globally in a wide variety of cuisines thanks to their intense heat and flavour. Kanz coarse salt is extracted from Anfeh, and is known as ‘white gold’. It is mixed with red chili pepper to offer a unique flavour. A few crystals of Kanz Chili Salt add a burst of flavours to any dish. Best added before serving.
