Sage, or Qas’in as it is locally known, is considered to be the therapeutic herb by excellence in Lebanon and the Middle East. Its distinctive aroma was identified thousands of years ago, entering the Lebanese culinary heritage as one of the many distilled herbal aromas, used in therapy and cuisine.
Kanz’s sage water comes from a 16th-century monastery in Baqlush where it is handpicked in the wilderness around the area and distilled according to an ancestral process.
Our sage water provides a sea of benefits in every drop and is a must-have in your Lebanese Mouneh selection!
Best used by adding a few drops to soups or sauces, or as a secret ingredient to stuffing recipes in roast dishes.
